Now that the Pilot has aired i wanted to get all your opinions about the show. I for one liked it.

I think it had a bit of a more Real, perhaps darker feel to it.

What do you all think

I actually enjoyed it. I thought it was going to come off as them trying to hard to resurrect the franchise, but it was pretty good. It was nice to see some familiar faces too. It is SO much different then the first two shows, ex. uniforms, guns, filming style, first , which caught me by surprise I was a little confused by the timeline, when was the ship built because it looks older than anything on Atlantis, I was thinking more of the ship from Ark of Truth as to what it the design??

I know its been pretty quiet around here lately, but perhaps the new series starting up will spark some more interest. I am curious to what everyone else thought?

Personally I didn't like it. It felt too much like Battlestar Galactica which I hated.

I never watched BSG or any Star Trek which alot of people have compared it to so i cannot say if it is lol, probably why i like it alot.

I am still not sold on it. There were a few moments that were pretty good (I like the Lt. that is coming into his own). However, there are some moments where it feels like the old TV show "Lost in Space" (Dr. Rush = Dr. Smith anyone?) I think I have to watch a few more and see what my final thoughts are. It is something new, so with that I will try and catch more episodes. Beyond that though I can't really say...

ehhh its not bad

Personally I loved it and I think it will go pretty far, I also loved BSG so that may have something to do with it.

I felt like the film/camera style and coloring was a lot like BSG (which I, too, strongly disliked), but UNLIKE BSG, it wasn't all about sex and drama. Except that one scene. I could have done without that. One of my favorite things about the original Stargate was that it was family-friendly...but then again, the SG-1 pilot had Sha're fully nude, and then there was nothing even close to that for the rest of the 10 seasons. I definitely see a bit of Dr. Smith in Dr. Rush haha. And now that you mention it, there is definitely a lot of parallels to that show, accidentally super far from home, trying to get back, etc.

Has anyone watched the new ep yet? I thought it was pretty good to be honest

I dont know, the next couple episodes might have some prospect but so far its been only so/so. I want them to explore more and get off that ship i understand that they have to fix it and w.e but its still kinda slow. And by the way I hate Dr. Rush hes such a tool and hope they kill him off
