We get to finally see the furlings this season, what do you guys think they will be like. Also many beleive they were second only to the ancients in tech development during the time of the great alliance, do you guys think they may give us the first piece of tech to help us in the war with the ori.

i hope they do, and anyway, i swear i posted this is another thread, but i guess they do deserve there own ^^, i hope they give us a ascended cannon ^^ wipe the ascended out of this galaxy ^^

personally i would like the see the ancients wake up and realise the Ori are giving there people vast tech and that they should give us the same, boy the Ori would crap if they were getting ready to open the Supergate and send more ships through when all of a sudden a incoming wormhole comes through and earth and jaffa and asgard forces come pouring through with ancient designed ships blasting everything

Well im hoping the Furlings turn up sooner rather than later. Although their apparent non-interference to date (e.g letting us take on the Goa'uld by ourselves) is a bit...worrying. No doubt they're going to be powerful but they better not be like the Nox.

i think he furlings might even be the new enemy in season 10. thats when the ancients start helping us out :)

Furlings probably have a human-like form, but er... more furry (lol). Maybe some became rogue and created the thing that made the SGC get infested with zombies...

I didn't mean all the Furlings, I mean like how the Earth has the NID rogues that Jack infiltrated, the Furlings had some type of group that also stole things and were pretty much evil. Other Furlings would probably come and we would meet them up close. Remember the code of the Ancients, do not interfere with any other lower race... Them = ascended, so higher... Furlings = doubtful that they ascended, so lower

I always had the theroy that TPTB would explain the Furlings as Werewolves. They like to explain creatures and other things from our past as aliens. They explained Vampires as the Wraith, so it makes sense they would explain the Furlings as a species that can transform into a large animal like creature. Think of it the Ancients come back and the Humans around them ask for stories around the camp fire, so they tell them about there former allies called the Furlings and how they could transform. Then over the centuries of that story being passed down it evolved into the legend of the werewolves.

If it's like that, then the legend might have been slightly twisted as mostly werewolves are portrayed as evil (biting humans and such).

Yaa over thousands of years the legend could have went many ways, it may go that only the strongest and oldest of the furlings could transform and that the rest of there population seemed to be normal humans

I think you're right. They're not furry, but they transform from humans into furry creatures, or vice-versa.

just like the SGC, i bet they do have a working stargate, but tell us so we think its not real..., but anyways...

i bet the furlings are extremely close to ascension, however, if they ascend, are they confined to the rules of ascended ancients? or can they make up there own rules becuase they are a different race? the ancients cant just make the rules for every ascended race can they? thats just unfair and unjust if they can :P xD
