Ok guys i didnt know if you guys have read this so i thought i would post it. I was reading the latest issue of stargate magazine and there is a large article in there about the game. The main thing they said was the 5 playable races available in the game. Humans, Asgard, Symbiotes (tokra and gould), and the Furlings. the develops asked the show creators if the had free roam to develop there own characters and they said yes absolutely. They asked if the asgard are really that limited in their movement or do they move that way due to SFX restrictions and they said SFX if you want to make Asgard move much more fluid and natural like then go ahead, and that the main reason u really didnt see the real Furlings in the show is because the are being developed and created exclusively by the people at CME and they said it is likely the furling and Ancient and Furling tech seen in the game will show up in Atlantis and possibly a unnamed 3rd serious

wow... at long last... but the furlings!?! cmon.. there the second most powerful in the alliance of the '5' races.... if they put them in why cant they put the ancients in lol !?! (rhetorical question)

Well, seeing as the ancients and humans look the same, I'm gonna be human :D, and you can probably get nice ancient equiptment for your character too look just like them anyway.

You just made my day with this information. So, did i understand the article when you said furlings and ancients. or did you mean the furlings will be similar to ancients. Near the end of your article. Either way i am feeling great. Imagine if the furlings were a human based species ww could play as them instead humans since they are closer to ancients in a technology sense. Wow great news here.

Just the Furlings Janus. What I was refering to was that CME was told by the creators of stargate that not only are they going to let them create cannon for the show but they actully want them to do it to show and explain things better that they cant on TV because of limitaions. Like the asgard will not be slow and move like puppets but instead move like more fluid beings. So since they are allowed to create cannon for the show we may see a pleathora of Ancient, Asgard, Furling, and Nox technology not seen on the show. He also mentioned vehicals and that there will be vehicals for space and ground but it will more then likely come in an expantion. I wonder how many little secret Ancient items they will hide for players to find like a mission for an Ancient Fighter or some kind of Furling gun. Also this game will be linked to Atlantis and maybe a third yet unnamed stargate series so it is very possible for us to see a gun other peice of technology in the show that was created in the game.

if there are secret ancient technology in the game... we better organise groups to farm them for the guild... because they belong to us :D all of them!! lol xD jk

Ah, thank you for clearer that up for me pyus. Hmmm i wonder though since you mention they will be tying it into atlantis. WIll this delay the game release becuase before it was tying in with sg-1 then a expansion for atlantis. I was really looking forward to fighting some ori. I really hope they add some more races thought. I would love playable characters like the wraith, ancients, and maybe even the ori. Well only time to tell. My vote is still Ancient. We Need ancient. Technically they could have them as playable character since some ancients have showned up in atlantis. I wouldnt mind playing as thre ancient replicators. I could play them as good guys and thus i would have my ancients...Sort of...A man can dream cant he!!!

No janus it will not delay the release. they said in the article "we arent forgeting atlantis fans and atlantis is expected to be our first major expantion". i was just saying that before the expantion comes out we may see tauri weapons from the game show up on atlantis

That's awesome. Myself, I plan on being human, but if there is a race that is significantly better suited for stealth, I may be it instead. We'll see.
